A day‐ahead bidding strategy for battery swapping and charging system participating in the regulation market

Abstract The battery swapping mode is a promising way for electric vehicles (EVs) to participate in power grid frequency regulation. However, the operation mechanism and uncertainty management process still lack research. Aiming at this issue, paper proposes day‐ahead bidding strategy charging system (BSCS) providing regulation reserve capacity ancillary service market. Firstly, new BSCS‐based model established. Then, an ambiguity set based on Kullback–Leibler (KL) divergence used manage of signals demands. Furthermore, boundary expectation approach proposed turn problem into robust optimization. Finally, after using extreme scenario method (ESM) generate scenarios, duality‐free column‐and‐constraint generation (C&CG) algorithm employed solve problem. case studies demonstrate that BSCS can provide economical plans market with strategy. At same time, simulated development trend future, suggestions are given.
